EPA’S NEW RENOVATION, REPAIR AND
PAINTING RULE (RRP)
Effective October 1, 2010
UPDATE (AS OF 6/21/10): The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the enforcement of the Lead-Paint Renovation, Repair and Remodeling Rule (RRP Rule). If your firm is not yet certified, the required date is now October 1. Installers have until October 1 to be trained and certified, or at a minimum be enrolled in an EPA approved training course by October 1 (in that case, they must be fully trained and certified December 31).
